Drunken Robot Pornography – The Brief

Do your robots know how to party?

Do you like robots? I thought you would. Everyone loves them, some maybe more than others. Want to get up close and personal with robots, big fighty robots, with lazers… and things? This may just be your poison.

I have a love/hate relationship with Dejobaan Games. Some of their games can be quite polarizing. I have seen what they can do with story telling, and I love it. I am just disappointed that they cannot seem to do that same with their 3D games.

This game can be summarised in three words; You shoot robots. There are sometimes many robots, there are sometimes few, but there are always big titans. While the small robots take one shot, titans take a little more work. They all have weaknesses, generally outer shells, which must be destroyed in order. If you take these off and the titan falls within the time limit and you win.

A simple premise, one that on the whole is not too bad. While I am not normally a fan of this style of game, I can appreciate what Dejobaan has done here. It does have the feel of an epic game with lots of enemies and even more shooting, but I found the controls weak and the physics a bit of a let down. I could not run around a corner without sliding off!

This is still a good game from Dejobaan Games, one that I am sure fans of the genre will love.
