After the previous graphical downgrade of the first Watch Dogs on PC, misleading many gamers trust, this recent announcement of Watch Dogs 2 being delayed on PC seems like Ubisoft are trying to regain the confidence of PC gamers. The PC version of Watch Dogs 2 will now be released on the 29th November, 2016.
The new date for the PC version will only be two weeks after the PlayStation 4 and Xbox versions, and Ubisoft will be using the extended time:
“To ensure that these and other features are polished and optimized to meet the development team’s standards.”
Ubisoft previously stated that Watch Dogs 2 on PC will feature a multitude of PC-specific enhancements, including support for full 4K resolution with Ultra Textures and Extra Details options; an uncapped framerate; and a host of other features and options specifically requested by the Watch Dogs 2 community.
Following the delay, Ubisoft did release the system requirements for Watch Dogs 2, which can be found on their blog here.
