Christmas is coming early this year, my friends!
Stardew Valley creator and everything else, Concerned Ape, has recently announced that the hit simulator game will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this month.
For us Aussie looking to get a bit of Stardew action, we can expect the Xbox One version of the game to release December 14th, 2016, with the PlayStation 4 version being released other places around the world at the same time (so, keep looking out for it around then too!).
As well as the big-name consoles, Concerned Ape announced some other news for the game: He’s abandoning plans to bring the game to the Wii U, and looking instead to bring it to the Nintendo Switch. He stated in a post on the Stardew Valley website:
“I am really looking forward to the Switch, and I believe that the Switch’s unique capabilities could create some exciting opportunities for Stardew Valley. I do want to emphasize that I am absolutely committed to seeing Stardew Valley on Nintendo platforms, and I really do appreciate your support and understanding in this.”
Stardew Valley was released earlier this year on February 26th for PC and has since released a huge extra content patch.
