The sequel to 2013’s hit JRPG, Ni No Kuni has finally been confirmed for a November 10th worldwide release.
You might remember the original title as the dream collaboration between revered JRPG developers Level-5 (Dark Cloud, Yokai Watch), and beloved Japanese film team Studio Ghibli. Former Ghibli artist, Yoshiyuki Momose, returns for the sequel, creating character designs that feel more than comfortable standing alongside those of its predecessor.
The sequel will follow young, fox-eared ruler Evan. Cast out of his Kingdom of Ding Dong Dell, Evan must rebuild the Kingdom and reclaim his throne. While initial sentiments were cautious of Studio Ghibli’s absence, the game is shaping up to be a worthy sequel to the fan favourite.
