After months of internal issues within Fnatic’s CS:GO roster, the decision has been made that Jesper “JW” Wecksell, Robin “flusha” Rönnquist and Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson are to move on from the team to ex-teammate Pronax’s team, GODSENT. JW and flusha have been with Fnatic for 3 years this month whilst KRIMZ joined them in June of 2014.
For those of you who haven’t seen a lot of competitive CS:GO, from 2013, JW has been one of the big names of the scene. Fnatic was one of the most successful teams in CS:GO history, joining their League of Legends team in the history books, winning the very first major over NiP at Dreamhack, Winter of 2013.
A statement was issued by Fnatic’s CS:GO coach Patrik “cArn” Sättermon:
“I want to thank Jesper, Robin, and Freddy for all the tiring work, loyalty and dedication they have plied throughout the long history within Fnatic, for the success they have achieved and for being a part of our family.“
Twist and Lekro will now join Fnatic from GODSENT, and Wenton will complete the roster, who moved into the substitute position for Fnatic earlier this year.
