Ghost Recon Wildlands: Ghost War PVP Mode is Getting an Open Beta

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands will be getting a free PVP update for all players sometime in the next two months – and now we get to play it ahead of time!

Ghost War will offer a 4-v-4  Team Deathmatch style of play with “expansive, open maps” (and if the current map of Wildlands is anything to go by, I do not doubt this one bit.) There will be a variety of play-styles and classes to choose from – letting players decide what role they will play in the team (I hope the support class rules – I do not like to kill) as well as some new game mechanics to enhance the PvP experience, such as suppressing fire and sound markers.

David has not been too happy with the state of Wildlands recently (you can hear about it on several episodes of the podcast). And I lost a bet revolving around its launch date – so we will have to see if this update rekindles a few fires that are all but snuffed out at this stage.
