Assassin’s Creed: Origins Revealed at Microsoft’s E3 Conference

We knew Assassin’s Creed: Origins was coming, ever since some merch for it got leaked a little while ago, as well as a Target pre-order card more recently, but did we expect to see it officially revealed at Microsoft’s E3 conference? I certainly did not!

Set in Ancient Egypt, your assassin protagonist this time around (the first time around?) is Bayek, Assassin of the Egyptian Brotherhood, throughout the reign of the last pharaoh, Cleopatra VII.

From the trailer and gameplay they showed at the conference, we can expect to see the aerial tagging system Ubisoft included in their previous release, Far Cry Primalas well as including a plethora of ancient weapons including different styles of bows and gladiator style designs.

Check out the full trailer below, as well as over 5-minutes of gameplay footage from Ubisoft itself.

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is being released October 27th, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
