You didn’t actually think EA would release Battlefield 1 without detailing the other ways we can spend money on their game did you? The Premium pass will feature new multiplayer maps, four (always four) digital expansions, new weapons, dog tags, and skins.
The pass (shown on the game’s origin page) comes in at a hefty $60AUD, and the first expansion pack, They Shall Not Pass, will release in March 2017 and introduce the French Army to the game. Pass holders receive two-week early access to the new multiplayer maps, and armies, while those who buy the DLC separately will likely have to wait a bit longer. Additionally, the following expansion will bring the Russian Empire into the frame. That leaves two more DLC packs, and two more armies, who will they be!
Premium owners should:
“Get ready for new Operations and game modes, new Elite classes, weapons, vehicles and more. The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass includes 16 new multiplayer maps, 20 new weapons, 14 unique dog tags and 14 Battlefield™ 1 Battlepacks containing stand-out weapon skins. Each Battlepack is delivered monthly, starting November 2016.”
Battlefield 1 is set to launch of the 21st of October.
