Once again, Studio MDHR’s boss battling platform bouncing Cuphead was featured at Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference. Since its announcement at E3 2014, Cuphead has gained notoriety for refusing to give details on a release date, but no more! At Microsoft’s conference this morning, it was finally revealed that Cuphead would finally make its way onto Xbox One and PC on September 29.
Making the wait even more strenuous is that the game was almost complete last year too. That is until the team listened to player feedback and added more platforming segments into what had been up until then a collection of boss battles.
If you have yet to witness the games gorgeous art style reminiscent of the hand drawn cell animation used in Disney shorts, you can check out the new trailer below.
Cuphead will be releasing September 29th exclusively on Xbox One and PC with Xbox Play Anywhere.
